SPECIAL GIFTS FROM MY SISTER

I got some wonderful sweet and thoughtful Christmas gifts from my sister and friend Tina . One of the gifs was a beautifully framed picture of my nieces Evelyn Grace age 7 and Amelia Margaret age 5 with Santa. My next gift was a mini photo album. Here are some pictures included in the album. A wonderful year of sweet memories. Gift 3 is a Laura Story CD. Laura is my favorite Contemporary Christian Artist right now. Her CD called Blessing is awesome

On Christmas Day 2011, I received a new rose pink laptop computer which is just beautiful/ Most of you who know me, know that I'm a real girl. Some things I like most are the colors pink (any shade) and lavender purple, butterflies hearts, and flowers. I needed a new laptop computer because some of the keys on my other one were start to stick. I use a computer when I write mostly because my writing isn't easy to read unless you have a trained eye for it. I do a lot of writing so it's a perfect gift for me and it's even in a beautiful shade of pink/ My favorite color. I love it///

As wonderful as the gift of a rose pink laptop computer is I GOT AN EARLY CHRISTMAS GIFT THAT MEANT MORE TO ME ON AN EMOTIONAL LEVEL. The gift was going to see the presentation BRIDGEWAY Community Church on December 23, 2011 The show was directed by my sister and friend in Faith Tracey also with the help of Jesus Christ. The message of Christ's birth and the Gospel was clearly shown in this wonderful production/// I had wanted to go to the show as soon as I heard of it on November 7, 2011 when I last saw Tracey. Not long after Thanksgiving dad asked me what I wanted for Christmas. Well, seeing Tracey and the Christmas production was at the top of my list. I don't get to see Tracey in person as much as I'd like to. I hear her daily on the radio. Tracey is such a Godly inspiration and encouragement to me. I love you Tracey/ Thanks so much mom and dad for these two extra special gifts and loving me so much and being so wonderful/

Frienship Anniversary

There are three extra special Friends in my life that thae Lord has blessed me with. I have what I call a Friendship Anniversary with each one of them. What is a Friendship Anniversary you may ask? W termsell, I will try to explain what they are in simple terms. I define a Friendship Anniversary as remembering the exact day the Lord placed that special person in my life. In this post I'll share a little about my friends Christina (Tina) Blackman, Pastor Scott Mitchell, and Tracey Tiernan. It's impossible for me to have a friendship anniversary with every friend that I have. Please know that all my friends are very important and special to me..





This first photo is of my sister and friend Tina and myself , The Lord brought us into each other's life on Wednesday, January 26, 1990. yes, that's right almost 22 years ago . We met when Tina became my High School Music Teacher. I was in my Final year of High school. God used Tina to impact my life in many ways becaause of how she believes in her students
















These are very recent pictures of my friend Tracey together the 3rd frienship anniversary I speak of in this post My Friendship Anniversary with Tracey is on Monday, October 18, 2010 She has encouraed me long before that when starting on a Christian Radio station SHINE FM 9 years ago she has a positive Godly spirit which ministered and still ministers to me daily on the Radio. I met Tracey as a Birthday gift surprise.I wanted to meet her for a long time so I put on my wish list never thinking it would happen. I felt as if I knew her already just by hearing on air, Having Tracey as a personal friend and sister has made a serious difference in my life with God's help. I love her willingness to learn about me with nothing on her heart but love for me like Jesus has for me. She has such a teachable heart/ God looks at us from the inside out. . Normally, I take a while to warm to new people however, that wasn't the case with Tracey and I WE INSTANTLY BONDED AS IF WE'D KNOWN EACH OTHER FOR YEARS. THE BOTH OF US HAVE MADE PERSONAL INVESTMENT IN EACH OTHER'S LIVES

The 2nd friendship anniversary I speak of in this post is My friendship Anniversary with Pastor Scott Mitchell is Sunday, August 15, 1993. Scott and I met at a camp called Christian Overcomers which a camp for young people with special needs where Scott was our camp Pastor for the week. He could relate to us in a unique way since He has special needs himself. The way Scott serves Christ is a great encouragement to all who meet him. I started a relationship with Jesus Christ in 1991 but wasn't able to get Baptized until 1993 when Scott Mitchell baptized me in the camp swimming pool/ What a sweet memory. We don't see each other in person very much but we're in regular contact with each other in many different ways.

We met when Tina became my Music teacher in my final year of High School God hss used Tina to impact my life in many ways because of how Tina believes in her students . she focuses on our abilities and not what we can't do. She sees us first as the people we are first. THAT'S THE WAY IT SHOULD BE When I met Tina I didn't have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as I do now. Tina became my first sister in the Lord. Since we have been sisters in Faith we've grown closer as sisters and friends because of the love of Christ and each other. She's someone I feel very comfortable talking to . She'll always pray with me and point me to the cross.

WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY MEMORIES WITH TINA AND TRACEY

On Monday, November 7, 2011, Two very special friends and sisters in Faith got together with me to celebrate my 41st Birthday. My two sisters are Tina, a long time sweet beautiful friend for over 20 years Tracey is a rather new friend I've known her a bit over a year but our closeness is sweet as If I've known her for years. I love and enjoy bonds like I have with both Tina and Tracey. The three of us had a fantastic dinner and sweet fellowship at Red Brick Station. After dinner we decided to stroll across the street to have some Starbucks coffee and dessert. I wanted to have a little fun with Tracey at my request, Tracey drove me to Starbucks in my electric wheelchair which has a sensitive control. She did a wonderful job/ I was very impressed. I only let my closest friends drive my chair for me.

After getting there,I wanted to do something special for and with Tracey that I've never done with her before but have wanted to for the longest time because, she's so special and important to me. I was blessed and honored to give Tracey her first hand massage which is my adapted way of washing her feet, a Biblical act of love and service. I was really moved she liked it so much. she looked very happy and relaxed just as I had hoped.

I received wonderful and thoughtful gifts from my wonderful and special sisters. Some of the gifts were angel earrings and a cross that's lit up by a tea light, BEAUTIFUL/ THANK YOU TINA/ Some of Tracey's gifts included a beautiful butterfly necklace it sparkles in a sweet way. Tracey also gave me an awesome hat (shown in picture)

40TH BIRHDAY SURPRISE NUMBER 2. MEETING MY SISTER TRACEY IN PERSON/

My friend Tina and I both have personal relationships with Jesus Christ so we both enjoy shine FM. The format of the station changed by playing more music. I was asked how I liked the new format I told her I loved it because I'm a big music fan. Then, I asked Tina about Tracey I told her that both her and Tracey have the same perky and loving personality which I love very much Another thing on my birthday wish list was to meet Tracey in person. At the end of my party. Tina said she had one more surprise for me. The next day both Tina and I had dinner with Tracey . On October 18, 2010 All of us had dinner together at Red Brick Station. This is a sweet picture of Tracey and I together after many tries of getting a photo where both of us look pretty our photo session was funny as we tried to get one.

At some point last year, my long time friend Tina who I've known for over 2o years now asked what I wanted to do for my 40th birthay so after thinking for a while I made her a list. One of the things on my list was to have a party with many of my church family members there to celebrate with me. After giving Tina the list, I thought nothing more of it because it was b a good while before my birthday. On October 17,2010 Tina threw a surprise party for me/ Many of my church family attended. There were invitations sent out without me knowing. Everyone pitched in to help Tina in one way or another there was food, fun, and fellowship . WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME.
